The Resort is located in a serene village along the shores of Lake Victoria in Kyagwe, Mukono District, Uganda. The proprietors of Serenada Eco Resort, Ambassador Ibrahim Mukiibi and Mrs. Harriet Mukiibi are retired Diplomats. Before joining the Private Sector in Hospitality Business, Ambassador Mukiibi served the Public Sector as a Minister, Member of Parliament, Political Mobiliser and Ambassador to a number of countries.

Serenada’s mission is also to serve as a teaching environment for students of Botany. Besides the natural forests, additional rare trees are planted which have been labeled with names and purposes so that guests can learn about various trees and plants plus their usages. Currently the resort can boast of being the host of many indigenous trees.
The accommodation comprises of the Executive cottage, Luxury cottages, Family cottage, Luxury self-contained tent and Self-contained guest rooms. For guests who wish to come for camping, they can bring their own tents or have them hired from our Resort.
