PAYMENT - YOU CAN CHOOSE FROM VARIOUS PAYMENT METHODS WHEN SETTLING THE BILL FOR YOUR ACCOMMODATION AND BOAT TRANSFER AT SERENADA ECO RESORT

 

  1. 1.     ONLINE PAYMENT

For convenience of  Serenada Eco Resort guests, and to secure your reservation at rates available at time of booking, we now offer the ability to pay hotel fees online.  Our payment system is supported by Direct Pay Online (DPO) and accepts Visa, MasterCard and American Express. The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorize credit cards prior to arrival. Payment by Credit/Debit cards will attract a 4.7% surcharge on the total payment.

We request our guests to make payment using our secure online payment system, by following the simple steps sent to you in a separate mail.

Mobile money is already an added option in the system.  In case of Mobile Money Payment you are able to pay through the below mobile money options which are cross border; Kenya – Mpesa & Airtel Money, Tanzania - Tigo and Airtel Money, Uganda - MTN Mobile Money & Airtel Money

If you did not receive the online link to make payment or want to pay through other means, then kindly provide us with an alternative e-mail address, and we will be happy to re-issue it.

 

  1. 2.     PAY IN CASH.

 

Should you wish to pay in cash, we accept Ugandan Shillings (UGX/Ush), Kenyan Shillings (KSH), Tanzania Shillings (TSH), Rwandan Franc (RWF), US dollar, Euro and GBP at the rates specified on the website.

In Uganda they do NOT accept US dollars given out before 2006

Please note that the exchange rate fluctuates on a daily basis. Please ask for the exchange rate at time of payment to avoid any confusion on this matter.

 

Please note that the full amount regarding the reservation must be settled BEFORE the time of check-in. Please always ask for a receipt to document your payment

 

  1. 3.     BANK TRANSFER

 

If you wish to pay by bank transfer you need to make your reservation at least 14 days prior to the check-in date.

For local bank-to-bank transfers please ensure the transfer is made no later than 5 working days before check-in. Please ensure to present the transfer slip at the time of check-in.

 

For international bank transfers please note that the amount payable is to be calculated in US Dollars. For a US Dollars booking receipt please contact us at serenadakyaggwe@gmail.com.

 

The amount payable in the total reservation invoice is net of any local charges or costs which may be incurred by the customer in making payment. These include local bank transfer charges, local government remittance fees.

CANCELLATION/PREPAYMENT

Please refer to the Terms & Conditions of the required rate for the relevant cancelation and prepayment policy.

 

Cancellation Charges

The charges below only apply to 100% advance payment on accommodation. If you only paid our required 50% deposit, this won’t be refunded.

  • 25% if cancelled four days in advance.
  • 50% if cancelled three days in advance.
  • 75% if cancelled two days in advance.
  • 100% if cancelled one day prior to booking or on the same day.

 

Please Note:

Any postponement of the booking will be treated as a cancellation and will be governed by the Cancellation Policy.

 

Refunds only through cheque for bookings made by cash/cheque/bank transfer.

 

Online refunds for bookings made through our online payment system usually take 3-5 working days.

 

 

 

SMOKING

 

For the comfort of all guests our rooms are smoke-free. We welcome smokers, but not the smoke.

 

PETS

 

For the comfort and safety of our guests, we do not permit the presence of pets at the hotel.

 

PARKING

We offer parking facilities FREE available around the hotel.
